The Panathenaic Stadium is located at Vasileos Konstantinou Avenue, in Athens city center. The imposing made of white marble stadium was constructed in the 4th century BC but over the centuries it has been subject to ​​several renovations and additions to end up with the current form.

Station point in the history of the Stadium has been the organization of the first international modern Olympic Games in 1896.
