Do not forget to visit the open theater Euripides in Patrice hill with a capacity of 3000 spectators. A great number of concerts and theatrical performances take place  during summer.

Another church worth visiting is Agios Demetrios, which was the first parish of Salamis. There lies the tomb of Georgios Karaiskakis, rebuilt in 1996. If someone wants to get to know the history of Salamina, he should visit the Folklore museum located in the building of the new town hall.

On the beach of Faneromeni monastery, is the home of the great Greek poet Angelos Sikelianos, which was reconstructed in 2006 and now operates as a museum. Finally, on the hill of St. Nicholas (also known as the hill of Mills) you can visit the two remaining windmills of the 18th century, which were built in the first years after the Greek revolution.
