Arguably, the most famous attraction of the island are the Catacombs of Milos. It is a complex of underground tunnels near the village Tripiti where the first Christians were gathering to celebrate their religious duties. In the northeastern part of the island is located the ancient city of Phylakopi dating from the Bronze Age.

Today, part of the city is submerged, giving a magical image in the coastal landscape. While visiting the island, you must definitely see the lunar landscape of Sarakiniko beach, result of geological processes of the past. Finally, Milos is a mining monument that hosts in several location mining operations from the Bronze Age until today giving a wild beauty to the island.
