The capital is built on the northwest side of Paros and within a picturesque cove. The town is beautiful and picturesque, with its narrow cobbled streets and its white houses. Here you will find hotels, travel agencies, car rentals, shops and much more. In the broader area of Paroikia are located the most important archaeological sites of Paros. The ancient cemetery, the shrine of Asclepius and Apollo and the ceramic workshop of the Hellenistic period.

The settlement of Naousa is located 10 km away from Paroikia. It is a popular tourist resort and a unique beach destination. The city is built around the picturesque harbor and is a real gem for all of the Cyclades. Many people choose it as a place of residence. In the whole island are placed several beaches that suit all tastes and mood. So, depending on what you are looking at a beach you can choose between isolated or cosmopolitan beaches. The most famous beaches in Paros are Livadia, Kolimbithres, Chrisi Akti, Monastiri and Punta.
