Corfu is geographically situated in the Ionian Sea, off the coast of Igoumenitsa and the southern Albania. According to the Homeric epics, Corfu was inhabited by the Phaeacians, a people of Phoenician origin. The name Corfu is due to the two peaks that visitor sees when approaching the harbor.

The land is mountainous and the green element is particularly strong. The meandering coastline hosts countless beaches, renowned both for their beauty and for their crystal clear waters. Corfu is one of the most famous tourist destinations that will fascinate even the most demanding visitor.
