Definately visit the two caves of the island. Located in the northwestern part of Donoussa, Cave Wall or ‘Spilia tou Toichou’ as the Greeks call it, offers the inner decoration of stalactites and archaeological findings dating back to the Geometric period. The second one, Seal Cave or ‘Fokospilia’ is located on the cape of Moschona and provides shelter to the seals (hence the name) and has clear turquoise waters.

Another good idea is to climb up the hill of Stavros, find the church Panayitsa and enjoy the stunning sunset and the spectacular view. Finally, do not miss to visit the Church of Stavros, imposing in the center of the homonymous village that is actually a model of the Cycladic architecture.
